Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- A suicide car bomb targeted a van carrying foreigners, killing eight and their Afghan interpreter, on the main road near Kabul's international airport Tuesday, an Afghan official said.
Ten others were wounded in the attack.
U.S. restricts operations after insider attacks
Video footage of the aftermath of the attack showed a charred vehicle smoldering on the road as military officials milled about.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
